It's not weird at all. Look at the polls on Russell Brand's channel, you'll always see people voting 70-90% in favor of mainstream media-opposite choices.

@ivan_14_ "defensive alliances" don't usually expand in peacetime unless they're preparing for war. NATO was in the process of undoing the balance of power that the peace at the end of the Cold war was established upon, before they were interrupted by Putin's invasion of Ukraine. I'd say he was very smart to do it when he did.

@bakersmileyface it would be a surprise to people that have been told that Russia was fighting "their smaller neighbor" like a "bully" and they are "losing to little Ukraine" meanwhile NATO mercs are in the field and NATO specialists are operating high tech weapon systems.

@bakersmileyface sure, there's even a Japanese dude I saw fighting for Russia on Patrick Lancaster's videos, he translates Russian on a mobile app. But you'll have to agree with me that the descriptions I quoted earlier were used to great effect to sell the image of a bully hitting an innocent kid to farm consent for the continued militarization of Ukraine.
