  1. Yes, a mouse must be conscious of the presence of the elephant at all times. Mexico is always aware of the presence of the US. Haiti as well. Cuba as well. Don't listen to one part of the speech and attack blindly. There is absolutely no basis for NATO expansion that isn't offensive in nature.

If you wanna play that card, there are literally millions of Ukrainians, Belarusians, Tajiks and Armenians living in Russia for better employment opportunities in a larger economy. Should that be justification for Russia to dictate security arrangements to these countries? According to your point, yes.
