Anders said the war going slowly is to ukraine's advantage and they have a lot of time because the sanctions will prevent Russia from being able to keep up weapon manufacture. Fact: CNN confirmed 5 months ago that Russia is producing 3X the amount of artillery shells and ammo than the combined West put together.

In 4 years the US govt with pay 2x as much on interest payments than the military (CFRB org). Maybe its time to be honest with Russia about expanding your military alliance in peacetime, instead of relying on Article 5 which may or may not actually happen.

He might as well use the Ukrainian coat of arms as his profile picture instead of people assuming he's being totally neutral. Problem is many people don't know when they're being manipulated by opinion pieces and think they're getting "analysis". Now of course don't get me wrong, you are free to publicly support whichever side you choose, just don't pretend to be neutral or objective about it. Wishful thinking and hope is not a strategy, it's just good for the feelings and for fuel in support to this war.

From Biden and Blinken saying Putin has already lost and the Russian economic collapse prophesied for years, Russians fighting with shovels and washing machines and running out of weapons, to UK and Germany panicking and telling their citizens to prepare for a possible draft. Clearly we were not being told the whole truth.

For many years I watched Russia participate as members of the international community in peace. For many years I watched Vladimir Putin as he attempted to negotiate limits to NATO expansion in peace, as well as wait patiently for 8 years for Ukraine to implement Minsk 1 and 2. If Russia is causing trouble now, it'll be because for Europe, peace was never an option. Nobody will ever go to sleep peacefully while a hostile military alliance is metastasizing all around it. Europe made this bed with the US: together you will all lie in it. That's what I understand, thanks for your contribution.
