  5.  @jodie3339  You might be surprised knowing I dont have orn ever owned or never used a gun. I am from Boston, the most liberal state in America... Now thats over. I understand the Constitution and why that clause of gun ownership was written as you know it was to prevent a totalitarian government from overbearing on their citizens. China recently said the presence of firearms in every Americans hands would make a difficulty of any country overcoming America. It is for that reason I favor the amendment in the Constitution. History... You do know that totalitarian countries such as Hitler, Saddamm, Castro, Maduro and lots more , said to their citizens upon gaining power... Now you can give us your guns ... you dont need them any more .. we are here to protect you .. we are confiscation them.... EVERY TOTALITARIAN COUNTRY does this... Then what happens shortly after ... the citizens are vanquished and follow like sheep whatever is put put... I never said all weapons of any type are allowed. Every time a parent doesnt lock up their gun or buys one for a child to use which is most of these school shootings .. the call comes out .. WRONG... VERY WRONG... Chicago is the strictest place for guns and do you even know the deaths every weekend. Legal gunowners ever abuse the weapon.... This is an age old discussion that a political party has taken up for votes. Your democratic senators and reps most all own guns and would never give theirs up as well as their protection body guards .. but just ordinary Americans you want to be harmed. I never want to own a gun ... only if this country gets very much lawless with Harris;s defund police and also says I cant defend myself
