  9.  @daviddavies3637  I agree with almost all you said. Our Bill of Rights ( not present in your constitution) are simple and deliberately so. The right to carry a firearm is just that ;a right under our law. I agree some guidance is appropriate yet how much. The constant chipping away is a back door to literally eliminate it. In the Bill of Rights it doesnt say concealed or openly visible. To sculpture the right would set a precedent to curtail other rights in the B of Rts. I dont own a firearm , have no interest, never touched one, nor want to but I support others who are not mentally deficient and have training as that person my save many some day. Roe was on thin ice when it was decided in the 70s and according to RBG , said the same and said some day due to its standing , it will be reversed. It isnt without precedent that rulings are revisited. It was the case regarding Slavery. It was revisited with regard to woman voting. It was revisited regarding Prohibition, and others. The court represents the people indirectly as the people vote for the president who appoints and the congress who confirms. A citizen brought the case to the court as had been done several times in the past by interested citizens since its inception and with the changes in the make up of the court, it ruled as you know. Absolutely , the court should not legislate. In late years , policies the democrats could not pass legislatively were sent to the courts in hopes they would deliver the desired outcome.. This is destructive if from either party. If the majority of people want abortion to be a function of the federal government, it should be easy to produce a bill by 2/3 of congress voting to pass and we would have a new law. They know it is not a majority opinion ,so how great to have those state populations who desire it, vote it in their state. I am from Boston and of course we have full access. I am not a fan of it BUT its the majority view in my state , so I wont burn and destruct things but accept it or move to another state. The greatest upset is in states that have abortion in place. Regarding judges I agree they should be in the shadows BUT we have a media who if you were watching made a circus of conservative appointed justices. I dont know about UK butt the left here ( and the media is their voice) is the outrageous violent aspect of our country. When a senate leader stands up before the court and calls out a Justice saying he will ":reap the whirlwinds for decisions and he will not know what hits him" ... This is out left. I dont know if you heard that ,,, (youtube) believed

  18.  @daviddavies3637  Thank you for those views. I can tell you something about US healthcare. We have social medicine for everyone except those who work. Some companies actually offer it or pay half of it. The workers, like myself however are taxed far less and choose their Insurance. Ill get back to that. Our retirees receive Medicare.. Its National health for anyone over 65 . Millions are covered. We also have Medicaid that is subsidized by the Fed Government and State governments. This is for anyone of all ages who are in poverty or dont work. Our second Federal gov health care is the VA or veterans administration. It cares for all those who were in our services. Also no one is ever refused to enter an emergency room at hospital. Fed government subsidizes all hospital emergency rooms for their "losses" in caring for critical care. The group who chooses its own healthcare, the workers have income taxes far far lower than those countries which offer their one size fits all healthcare. Generally 20% income tax. Some opt for an insurance of varying coverage and costs according their situation. I often hear bad about US healthcare and wasnt sure if you were aware of this. If stats show Americans dont live longest its more about overweight and lack of exercise . Regarding Bill Clinton. He was the kind of democrat that was successful. When he overreached in policies that for Americans , were seen as too left , he lost the house and congress. Then Clinton worked with Congress as they did with him and things were successful. That working together has disappeared. The Dems have gone far left (American view of left), and of course the push back comes from the opposing party as they drift further and further apart. That is today. Have you concluded that America is a more Conservative country than most others? I believe it is, although I see the way as just normal, and the policies of todays democrats as radical.(I am /was a dem from Boston as I mentioned earlier) . .I dont know if England is defending law enforcement policing. Our president calls half of Americans as racists and white supremacists.( Its not at all truthful) Stopping the Keyston Canada pipeline to US reduced the volume of petroleum on the world market along with other exec orders that went to war on energy the first day. We have a right of free speech but since Trump the Fed has been going after political rivals for speech ... I mean raiding their houses..some guy who was given a hard drive by a woman who stayed in a motel the day after a man stayed and left his laptop info . The was the presidents son. I heard there was real bad stuff involving minors. They went to the guys house at 5 AM and raided his house with a camera crew .. This kind of stuff never ever happened. Anyway .. its expected that both house and senate will change in 5 months due to our presidents shift to the left.We always swing like a pendulum in the middle . I think about it and how things work in other countries but I think America is just so big and diverse and the tradition was to not have a strong Federal power but each "colony" maintains its identity with changes done by the residents of those states. Its a pretty good thing. For example I live in New England, one cannot have fireworks to celebrate the break from the king on July 4th in my state. Although illegal in Mass. people still fire them off on Independence Day in my state. New Hampshire is just a 90 min drive away and that state sells fireworks . When I go to a different state , I have to be aware of their rules and laws . Its kinda nice. Anyway .. thanks for sharing understandings.
