@AndrewPriester exactly. Rather than see that jesus's message was about love and peace, you see the message of God as imposing supremacy over others. The idea that some people are better than others, that you have more privilege and moral and spiritual dominance over others. The exact opposite of what Jesus said. The fact is, he came to be because the Old testament was being misinterpreted in that exact way. but guess what, you probably see Jesus as a superhero, somebody that is superior, that spread his message for a specific, superior group of people to hear so that they could rule over others. there's a reason that your false prophet happens to be a white, male, conservative, billionaire.
