  3. Last one this big was 1921, over 100 years ago, but that was only to describe the area effected. Hurricane Rita was 19 years ago and much stronger, so was Michael. DW got it wrong, again.

  4.  @JackRichardsonM8  And exit as either a Cat 1 or tropical storm. The eye sheared in half, a lot of rain, but the winds will hit Tampa Bay from the East, which means less surge. Even the weather geeks I'm tracking are getting bored.

  6. Why make policy on predictions 50/100 years out with such a high error rate. We can work on issues at hand to get better results for humans than cause suffering with draconian measures on fossil fuels. A barrel of oil is still the cheapest, dense energy battery so easily transported around the world. It's not going anywhere soon.

FALSE: The current ocean temp in Gulf is 20 degrees less than last year, Helene also pulled energy out of the ocean surface, and the Saharan Dust Layer has also cooled Atlantic temps, that's why the hurricane season is below or at normal. NOAA's predictions this season are way off. The Climate Science got it wrong. Why? The models just are not good enough yet, so why are the good enough to predict 100 years out?
