Hum, Bannon was invited and spoke at Cambridge University, He is almost singlehandedly responsible for Trump's victory in 2016 when Reince Priebus and the GOP leadership wanted to pull Trump's ticket after the Billy Bush bus interview. He does not now play a significant role, but is serious, just as Karl Rove and Henry Kissinger are in some quarters. You are incorrect.

Not sure your point, but the true insurrection was mounted by the DEMs, and why as a DEM in California I walked away. 1/6 was a small riot which lasted less than 3-hours with no support from any authoritative branch of the government, police or military. Our system just does not work they way as described.
