"Defeated"? I don't see any Afghan or Vietnamese running my neighborhood in California? Vietnam, we are very good friends and trade allies with them now. Vietnam was not "ragtag" they had Soviet weapons and fighter jets.

@ukestudio3002 Yes. this is clearly a meta-message to Iran, anyone honestly following knows that. the ordinance on the B-2, which can only be carried by the B-2, is capable of destroying Iran's nuclear project even if its 300 meters below the surface.

? Yemen attacking civilian merchant ships in international waters. That's been a bad thing for a long long time, the US fought that in the early 1800s In the early 19th century, the United States became involved in conflicts with the Barbary States, including Libya, which was then part of the Ottoman Empire. The Barbary pirates were known for attacking American merchant ships and demanding tribute in exchange for safe passage.

@kunalnagarkoti4409 ? No, The First Barbary War (1801–1805), was a conflict in which the United States fought against Libya. In fact, the USS Enterprise fought in that war. United States President Thomas Jefferson refused to pay tribute to Arab pirates. This was the first major American war fought with the Arab world, although there was a smaller war with Algeria in the late 1700s. Easy to factcheck, even a wiki page on it.

@kunalnagarkoti4409 You are also completely ignoring Woodrow Wilson and WW1. Geez.

@MusehanaH 2nd American president, Thomas Jefferson, had to deal with pirates and US ships along the North Africa coast in 1800-1805. There are even popular movies about it. WTF. Sweden and Norway were also involved, No, this didn't start in 1948 or Oct 7.

US Congress has not declared war since 1941. This is by a legal executive order. The President is responsible for protecting civilian merchant ships on the high seas, and has been for over 200 years. In the early 19th century, the United States became involved in conflicts with the Barbary States, including Libya, which was then part of the Ottoman Empire. The Barbary pirates were known for attacking American merchant ships and demanding tribute in exchange for safe passage.
