Trump is not a climate denier, he has made it clear he is for pragmatic and fair plans to mitigate climate change, but his role as president is not the same as scientists, nor should it be. I've listened to lectures where sociologists say brute facts lack "soul, and we must respect other ways of knowing". That is not "progressive", it is regressive, taking us back more than 2,500 years to myths about twigs and rocks.

"The Lincoln Project" is a conservative group against Trump, primarily because he is a populist who is not concerned with deficits and entitlements. The danger is the noise coming from both sides drowning out the signal. We need to mitigate and moderate the S/N ratio or real trouble will come.
