  1. Destroying Al Qaeda wouldn’t have solved the problem, to destroy a weed you need to pull it from the roots. The U.S. should have authorized a full scale punitive expedition against Saudi Arabia to neutralize their ability to finance Wahhabism. Sending those Arabs back to the Stone Age would have been true vengeance.
