  1. Lets you know how fragile the economy really is, and how just one bad decision can totally wreck it in many ways. The Economy isn't something that can be managed, it's literally billions of people making billions of individual decisions every single day, you can not predict what is going to happen. It's next to impossible. Business assumed the economy would slow down dramatically, but consumers kept consuming.
