  5. @Dominick Smith It doesn't matter when travel from China was shutdown because he ignored warnings about the virus and told ALL of us the virus was a hoax and nothing to worry about. He also recommended injecting disinfectants to cure coronavirus. He also recommended using hydroxychloroquine for treatment without scientific backing to support the effectiveness.

My family left the Republican party after the constant nonsense. The way Republicans handled the pandemic is another example of the nonsense. The orange man didn't even know the 10th Amendment in our country's constitution. What a slap in the face to our freedom.

I was warning my family, friends, and coworkers about the seriousness of the virus and the orange man was on television saying it was a hoax and no big deal. I've got plenty of witnesses to that. Many of them are Republicans, too. They will tell you straight up that I gave them advanced warning about the seriousness of the virus and told them to get prepared. I saw the warnings on the CDC website and also saw where the WHO was giving us all warnings. Not only that, I have a strong background in mathematics which includes statistics. I saw the growth rate and knew immediately we had a problem on our hands with the virus. But the orange man continued to tell everyone that it was just a hoax and no big deal.

The orange man didn't even know that even though knowing the constitution is a major part of his job. He even doubled-down after people told him about the 10th Amendment which made him look even more dumb.

The orange man in the WH just made a horrible decision to ignore the advice and claim it was a hoax.   36.  @chrisvassallo2372  First of all, US politics is not irrelevant to people in other countries as you claim it is. Our foreign policy has effects on other countries that include but are not limited to economic effects and immigration effects. We currently have the strongest economy in the world (when not affected by coronavirus). If our economy goes down, it makes a ripple effect that reaches to other countries because we are not able to buy as much or produce as much. Do I think the economy is important? Absolutely. However, I think it makes more sense to follow the recommendations of medical experts during a pandemic. Why? Because if we open too soon, it is possible that we could have even more people get sick, which means more people die, and possibly having hospitals overrun. If that happens, we would ultimately end up shutting down a large part of our economy anyway to prevent further spread, not to mention the large number of people who would be scared to return to work. If we do the right things to prevent further spread the first time, then we can open back up sooner and avoid many of the problems I just mentioned.

Many Republicans saw the warnings on those websites because I showed some of them. There's no way you ir anyone else can deny the fact that the orange man in the WH ignored the warnings.
