  1. Aid to Ukraine is a very small percentage of the USA budget. The weapons being given to Ukraine have already been paid for and would be destroyed which would cost money. Ukraine is defending itself but also the world from Russia without one American boot on the ground. Pretty good deal for the USA.

  5. So if your house is attacked , broken into your friends/neighbours shouldn't help you because it is not their house? You don't think you should help a friend who is in trouble? I guess selfishness is a characteristic of many homo sapiens. Not a very attractive trait.  @KeepItReal33

In my humble opinion that would be selfish and show indifference . The USA is very rich and can well afford to help a friendly democracy and 'protect' its Mexican border. Do you think the USA shouldn't have helped the UK ( in Europe) defeat Hitler? Do you think you can't help a neighbour and look after your house as well?? By the way... Putin said in 2016 that there are no limits to Russia's borders. People on Russian TV talk about taking Alaska back. ( In case you didn't know Russia sold Alaska to the USA in 1867)
