@tjmarx I'm not the one who keeps trying to use someone breaking into your house or a pothole in the road as a suitable analogy for voter ID. If my argument is stupid, it's because your analogies are worthy of ridicule. While you've not addressed my point that voter control measures have overwhelmingly been used by undemocratic, often fascistic political figures. To further your rubbish analogy, it's like getting an active burglar to come round and design your home security.

@tjmarx Nah, it's just trying to scare people into more restrictive voting policies. Voter fraud has never been an issue in the UK, there is no evidence to suggest its something we should be worried about for the future. In fact, if you look through our history, political groups seeking to "cheat" an election have used these kinds of measures, backed by the kind of reasoning you're giving. So, unless you've got anything substantial that says otherwise..

@tjmarx What's clear is that you don't actually have a point. You make long, rambling comments with no actual substance. As much as you try to appear intelligent through your word choice, your only real angle is trying to insult the intelligence of whoever you're arguing with. But you're not even halfway decent at that. And all it takes to derail you is to simply ask for you to explain what you're saying. So you have to resort to this lazy, brainless "go back and re-read" nonsense that's the last resort of the empty-headed contrarian.
