  1.  @beany1944  From my understanding athletes and classical musicians are not given exemptions from serving in the military. They just serve in different ways after initial 'boot camp". They can serve as social workers and such. Also, the service time is not two years but 17 months now.

  3.  @rachelbrooks-pannell24 Athletes and classical musicians don't get exempted. Their services can be delayed. And there is not a shortage of males in South Korea.
