  1.  @TheCarCareNut  I've never over do the spraying,just enough to soften any residue,spray some on a rag too & then wipe.Oh btw, i just double checked my ATF level on my Cvt (2015 Yaris) & it's definitely not worth doing another ATF change,it's half decent with a touch of red still. It's spot on with the level. Thanks for all the responses and advice. The do's,the dont's with all the explanation to why really helps us,incl what to look out for & all the hints n tips are awesome!!

  3.  @crbourret  I never removed my throttle,always sprayed it on,leave for 5 secs then wipe away.Always done it and never any issues.
