Amd...Question - could you use 5W-20 instead of 0W-20 for 1NR- FE? (2015 1.3L Yaris) The price difference is £5 for a 5L of Valvoline here in he UK.

@jessebuenrostro2080 I've owned 2 Yaris's,a 2002 1.3L for nearly 14 yrs,they're great!! Only ever needed mid & back exhaust,front brakes,serp belt and stabiliser links,cheap and easy to do. The the 2nd gen is a good choice too. Do check if it has decent service history. Don't skimp on cheap oil, use a good well know oil brand & you can't go wrong every 5,000m.

Jeff,good choice. It'll be real reliable,Camry & Corrola are very similar in service costs,so don't about that. Enjoy the ownership, i can't switch from Toyota (14yrs ago) from now on,they awesome!

They're a little bigger than the 2nd Gen Yaris,i had the 1st Gen for 14yrs,recently got the 3rd Gen XP150 (Facelift) 2015 1.3L CVT hatchback here in the UK. They're awesome! So many specs to choose from!! Unreal! My model is called an Active, there's Active+ with rain sensors,cruise control & climate control,but didn't want too much toys. Only the Sport model in Europe is made in Japan,all others are made in France.

On my 2015 Yaris here in the UK,i spray WD-40 or even GT85 with PTFE everywhere in the engine bay.underneath & under the rear of the car 3x a year. It really help keep away corrosion.

Cabrillo Clay- Avoid long freeway/highway driving,different varientations of the revs is vital. So try to keep driving it local.

@jessebuenrostro2080 That is a lot for a 2007 Yaris with 147,000m
