@The2ndFirst When I lived in Cheyenne I had to leave the state for everything other than milk, bread and eggs. I’ve seen Rawlings, there is nothing there.

@The2ndFirst I lived in Cheyenne during covid. Nothing changed around town. The area is already socially distanced, and the weather and wind keeps you indoors 8 months out of the year. 😂🤣😂🤣

@The2ndFirst Not rich. But content with both my wife and I being military retired. We are in our 40s and our combined retirement pay is enough to not need to work. We tried to retire in WY for the tax benefits, but going to CO for everything ate up any savings, so we took a year sabbatical in Napa. That was dreamy , but unrealistic in the long run. Bought a new house in Nicevile Florida, and that area is as isolated as WY, but with the opposite weather, which is also bad.😂 Just moved to Tokyo, so far cost of living is 50% cheaper than Florida, and unlimited amenities. Super happpy!

And it still sucks. You have to go to SLC for everything. 😂😂😂

It’s just like living in covid lockdown. Lovely.

@MattTaylor-xx7gs That’s what I had to do. But I was in Cheyenne, so a little closer for me.

Nick, now go back in January. Your video will last 1 minute because you will turn around. 😂

Nope. Because there is nothing to steal, or no people to commit crime on.

@The2ndFirst Definitely $$$. I would be in Napa if I had the money.

@jlseagull2.060 Cheaper than where I was living in Nicevile Florida. Somehow there is way more money in my bank account at the end of the month, and I’m doing way more traveling and eating out than when I was in the isolated area of Destin/FWB. When I was in Cheyenne I had to go to Colorado for everything other than milk/bread/eggs. So it was more expensive to live in WY compared to if I had just moved to Ft Collins and paid higher taxes. Crazy!

@crystalrodriguez5854 Where do you go for normal life things? Ft Collins? Denver? Airport?

@nancymunsinger5060 Got it. To me the math didn’t work out. When I lived in Cheyenne, I had to go to CO for everything, so I basically paid CO sales tax, more gas wasted, we travel a lot so Denver Airport was our only choice. We basically lived in CO. 😂

It’s bad. I survived 6 years there. Now I’m living.

@alk3078 Not really. I’m an introvert, don’t do crowds. But being at least 90 minutes from everything is ok. Only Cheyenne is doable in WY.

@PushinP911 Pretty similar place and weather.

I wonder how that drive of nothingness from Cheyenne to Rawlings went. 😂

@jdobbs7700 Definitely the weather in the south is unbearable. I only lasted a year in Destin. Not worth the price for the crappy weather and prices similar to California. But WY is the opposite extreme 😂. Still looking for a happy medium somewhere in the US.

My only complaints when living in Cheyenne for 6 years. No food No entertainment No shopping Limited international products in supermarkets so had to go to Denver every 2 weeks for groceries.

@Hschlick84 Many places offer both. No need to be miserable.

@johnbeton4058 Almost zero Japanese. I point at things, lol. Did 20 years in the Air Force and my Wife did 22. So now we are moving around looking for the best place to live. Did Vacaville, Destin, now Tokyo. Will never ever do FL again😂

@carollong7941 Thankfully I don’t live caring about what people think. I enjoyed Napa a lot and never had any issues. I enjoy places as if nobody else is around me.
