I lived in Wyoming for 6 years. Would’ve been cheaper to have lived in Colorado, even with taxes. I had to go to Colorado for shopping, dining, groceries, entertainment, hiking, skiing, airport. Did the math during the 1st months of the Corina shutdown….and numbers showed I was spending more by living in Wyoming. So living in Wyoming was entirely pointless.

@Wyoboy7220 As I mentioned in my post. I had to go to CO even for groceries. So all those 3-4 hour round trips end up being more expensive, more depreciation on my vehicle, etc. House prices in Cheyenne are based on Denver prices apparently. Property taxes are super low in WY, so that was good. But renewing the registration on my 2 vehicles was almost $1000 a year. That was very excessive.

@thomasschellberg4235 Aspen was 50% closer than Jackson. Making WY even more obsolete.
