  4.  @jasonrandom372  Per capita, obviously. Florida has the oldest population. Young retirees don't go to FL right away. But eventually will end there.

  7.  @Kahless_the_Unforgettable  I would think California would have zero retirees (other than people on Social Security) I can't imagine someone retiring with a pension, and deciding to move to California, or to stay in CA if that is where they worked. But soon, US will have very few retirees overall. 401ks have destroyed retirement plans and pensions. Now everything is gambled in the stock market. We already witnessed millions of Boomers losing their retirement plans in the 2008 economic collapse.
