Because that's who they're talking about, Chad or Tyrone, not 90% of men, because those 90% are invisible to them until they need an ATM in middle age. I didn't realize until after my divorce that in our fifteen year marriage, my wife NEVER really apologized to me. Oh, she did say "sorry" from time to time, but it was always "sorry, but really, when you think about it, this isn't my fault". It was always me or external circumstances or the phases of the Moon, but NEVER her. If you pay attention to when women do apologize, you'll realize they're what the "Seinfeld" writers called an "unpology": "The facade of an apology created by uttering obligatory words of remorse devoid of actual regret, contrition, or even an admission of guilt." Also known as a "female apology", although some men do, it, too, but few women in the history of the world have ever expressed sincere contrition. Because accountability = contrition = a real apology and we all know how women feel about accountability.

@fishbike9103 As I told my wife when we divorced, "Every marriage comes with rights and responsibilities: a woman has rights and a man has responsibilities." Marriage now is so one-sided (by women's choice) that no man should get married, at least not in the West.

@malomemadman I had a girlfriend who got mad at me for something I didn't do, I apologized just to avoid drama, she got MADDER because of the apology. Women need drama just as much they need oxygen. They'll accept an apology AFTER they're done punishing us for transgressions both real and imagined, just like the psycho in Clip 1 said. The guys who apologized took away her fun.

Men can and will change for a woman, not because we were emotionally bullied or blackmailed into it, but because the woman made herself valuable to us, so valuable we'd change rather than risk losing her. She's right, Chad doesn't want to hear her going on and on, so he just says "sorry" without meaning it to shut her the hell up. After 3 minutes of listening to her, I was ready to confess to JFK's assassination if it'd shut her up.
