@StevenTheAristolianNerd It's not about powder. Steel armor gets defeated with velocity. 308 is like 2800 fps and 5.56 out of a 20 inch barrel is 3200 fps.

@dustinhoffmann6241 Bohemia Interactive, the makers or ArmA, sell VBS as a simulation for the military. It's not commercially available and back in the day it was nearly impossible to pirate as the simulator required a specific USB drive with a key to be plugged into the computer. It's much more expensive than the game but the functionalities are tailor made for the military and teaching needs.

@dirtyblueshirt This is absolute cope. Move the goalposts until you can claim that success is defined by doing the bare minimum and pat yourself in the back while pissing away lives and money. Not to mention that military action against Assad and Qaddafi created safe havens for terrorists - not to mention that support for Saudi Arabia's actions in Yemen is helping AlQaeda. Might as well have allowed the terrorists to have Afghanistan. Not to mention that most likely the peace deal with the Taliban will most likely involve allowing Uyghurs to move across the border to train fighters. So not only are your objectives questinable when taking the costs into account, they are also contradicted by other aspects of foreign policy.
