  1.  @johnwicksfoknpencil  the thing is, the GWOT is a globalist war just the same. The whole point of having a military, or a department of defense, is actual defense. And defense is being able to tell the world, I'm going to make you bleed if you come for our land so think twice before doing something stupid. Having a military fine tuned for counterinsurgency only ensures the continuation of the forever war.

  3.  @smithnwesson990  Okay, "bigger" bore then. Plus, the Valkyrie doesn't have that heavy of a selection of bullets so it doesn't fit the criticism I dished out to the fat heavy alternatives to 5.56. Also, from my very short research on it, it seems to achieve performance through slower burning propellant (flash) and has an increased neck taper (reliability). Doesn't seem like a prime military use cartridge to me. "Sure it's not fast enough to pierce armor" - Forget about speed because this isn't about defeating steel. You want momentum, a big AP core, and good BC.
