  1. The US never used a PMC as a military branch. Even Air America was flying planes for the CIA, not seizing villages and towns in Vietnam. And for that matter, Chinese PMCs also act as security and nothing more. If there's anything to point a finger at, it's how they have a fishing fleet composed of ships that can act as military vessels as a weird naval militia.

  3.  @AnonIllumi  That "one example" has 60 Venezuelans and two Americans. Spear Operations Group was founded by a Hungarian-Israeli and they were used for assassinations. In neither of the examples were they meant to do frontline military combat nor was the US government involved. Wagner has tanks and combat aircraft. Neither of those had them.
