  3. Ukraine phased their mobilization into waves because they couldn't train them all in one go. Russia couldn't train them all in one go either, but still put the men in busses and dropped them off on abandoned bases.

  6. The first major explosion reported was a bunch of Soviet rocket fuel for nukes. Ukraine no longer has the weapons which used that fuel, and in 2020 articles came out compliaining about the danger that was having all that fuel in storage. That location was extremely public, which means Russia kept that facility in the back pocket for whenever they suffered a major setback. Ukraine counterattacks at Bakhmut? Make a big bang to satisfy the domestic audience.

  9.  @darenm617  It's not so much the fact that it's the FOAB, it's that you said it would be a war crime to use it. But the US used the MOAB, it's perfectly legitimate.

  10.  @JB-lp9xr  No, those were cruise missiles. The FOAB is a HUGE weapon that can't be launched from a distance, it has to be flown with big bombers over the target. Russia would just get their bombers shot down.

  15. ​ @healthymealthy775  the leak states Ukraine suffered 17k KIA while Russia suffered 43k KIA and 180k wounded. If you saw anything else, it was photoshopped. You can see the font isn't consistent or aligned properly.

  22. Wagner is not good at assaults. They just have more men to spend. Bakhmut isn't the main defensive line, Kramatorsk is an even bigger stronghold. Capturing Bakhmut would be a piece of cake compared to what would be next.
