  1. It is crucial nowadays to be part of the international community, to have partners and friends. No country can survive as alone. It is crucial that there will be a generation change in Thailand. It could be the role of the king to be a facilitator of modernisation and change.

  3. I expect the same. It is not over. The military is suitable to govern a country for a limited time, if law and order needs to be restored, for example. But a junta is incapable to drive the economy, they have no clue about economics.
