  1. Microstamping is literally the dumbest thing. All firearms already leave unique firing pin marks. Also, figuring out a firearm used in a crime 98% of the time doesn't push a case along at all. Since most crime firearms are used in so many crimes that you can't pinpoint them to any specific individual. Classic Spartacus defense.
