@fredo51 You can try to crap on the "Yanks" for not accepting a ton of foreign designs. They surely have, although... when your country birthed JMB, things are just a bit different. That all said, Yankees are not all Americans. It'd be like if Americans insisted everyone who resides in England is a Manc. Scratch that, I'm now referring to everyone from England as a Manc from here on out.

@reubenpickering7777 And the M240 (although it is inspired by the BAR), the 40mm Bofors, the 57mm AT gun, the current 5.56 used by NATO, etc. There's lots of foreign designs in the USA.

@reubenpickering7777 The M60 bolt group was the FG42 essentially. M9 is Beretta. HK416 is used by the USA.

@callumwright7459 It's not just northern vs. southern. It's a hard New England Northerner. It's a specific regional thing. And to answer the other guy, I'm not from Indiana. Just because you call everyone a Yankee from the USA doesn't make it accurate. It just makes you the opposite of that, (oh yeah) inaccurate.

@callumwright7459 Just because you're wrong for 200 years doesn't make it right. You can't tell another country to adopt your terms because your grandpappy used them. It's that simple.

@howardchambers9679 Yank is a generic term for people who don't know. Just like me calling you a fan of Manchester is a term for people who don't know. Maybe don't defend it. Yankee is specific to one area of the USA. It's only a generic term for people who don't know.
