  4. As a Swede, thanks for your opinion but if you don't even live here then I am not going to take it very seriously. Sweden used to have compulsory military service for a very long time, my grandfather did it - can you guess what he trained for in the 50s? War against Russia (Soviet union). My father did his military service in the 70s, what did he train for? War against Russia (Soviet union). I did military service in 2000s, what did we prepare for? War with Russia. You think suddenly we joined NATO now Russian relations are suddenly really bad and now we have to tread carefully? Dude you are funny every generation doing military service has been preparing for a war with Russia for hundreds of years. Nothing has changed, Russia is still considered the most likely aggressor against us just like it was back in the 1700s. Joining a defensive alliance has nothing to do with economy or freedom, our laws will stay the same and our economy won't change. We got 1% of our energy from Russia before the war, they don't offer anything we need.

  5. Didn't Russia make an agreement to respect the Ukrainian sovereignty at the end of the Soviet union? Deals go both ways you don't keep your deals dont expect your enemies to keep theirs.

  7. European here, I'd very much prefer Trump. Even without the US Europe is more than enough to stop Russia. Russia cannot even take on Ukraine, imagine adding Germany, France or the UK to the equation?

  10.  @mickusrobertson9534 Correction. Polls showed 78% of Finns supported joining NATO shortly before they became a member. Sweden had 68% that were positive to NATO membership. So yeah you are quite ignorant to claim it's just "leaders" that want this when this has popular support. Who are you to come and tell others in a different country what's good for them, you have no clue who they are, what they think and what considerations they make. The fact that you did not even know there's popular support for NATO in these countries shows how little you know about the Newest NATO members. Let people in other countries decide what their nation should and should not do and focus on your home country instead.

  12. Everyone is a potential target for expansion for Russia anyway. They won't be missing out much from Russia anyway. 1% of Swedish Energy came from Russia, they have nothing Sweden need anyway.

  20. The longer Russia fights the more soldiers and equipment it lose the weaker it gets. Inflation has more to do with COVID aftermath than Russia and we will bounce back. Russia can never get back then men they lost on the Front.
