  6.  @mickowens9839  Has your memory forgot that Ukraine are using the exact same lend lease Russia used to help with the fight against the Germans in WW2? ... without it Russia would have lost , plain and simple! Your memory also forget that Japan KNEW the US had the bomb. They were told so. Through diplomatic channels the US demanded Japan surrender `unconditionally` and end the war. The Japanese thought it was over and offered to surrender CONDITIONALLY where THEY would make the decisions! All lines of communication were tried with the same result. They refused again after the first strike ... so Nagasaki was hit. Japan alone sacrificed those two cities solely to keep the Emperor from being embarrassed.
