@moiseshuerta3984 that shovel thing was misreporting by the BBC of a British intelligence report. russia hasn't been short on bullets. They are short on some missle and artillery munitions. So some soldiers complained they wouldn't attack without a proper fire mission first, all they had were rifles and shovels. Vatniks like you keep clinging to little mistakes in the media, and clinging to them with such desperation.

@henenkumbe2133 they aren't out of planes but they don't have the ability to service and maintain the flight hours required. Which is why they keep dive bombing cities like belgorod. Flying them would be a costly waste and risk one falling onto the parade. Do you think partisans were going to try and shoot one from the sky? poutin just can't afford to send certain systems In for a big expensive parade with no tactical value. russians are stretched thin and their soviet inheritance is drying up.

@dragons_hook lol, what? A country at war can't join NATO, simple as that. Since 2014 Ukraine has not qualified 🤷‍♂️ 98% of promised aid has been sent. Germany is even building new factories to supply munitions; sharing tank technology to build a maintenance factory in Ukraine. Germany has done quite a lot despite the slow start. 🏭 NATO won't get involved directly without provocation. They won't risk a no fly zone without serious provocation. russia still has nukes and nobody wants to justify a reason to use them.

Usually they show rows of T-34 then walk up the line showing rows of every russian tank produced in quantity. This year a single T-34. It shows they are constrained in their ability to spare extra working tanks for a parade. 20 other locations completely cancelled their equipment displays.

@gerritvalkering1068 In Somalia NATO was only used to monitor shipping and identity pirates. Back when they rescued a ship captain who was taken hostage in 2009. Oh and over 40 nations were involved in a U.N. mission UNPROFOR to intervene with the dissolution of Yugoslavia. Even russia was involved. When the mission eventually dissolved due to poor command structure NATO decided to continue the mission using their own command structure.
