Comments by "First Last" (@First-Last_name) on "How has Germany's approach to military aid for Ukraine changed? | DW News" video.
Now can we get on France and Italys back to send weapons? They get no flack, but they have done less then Canada or even the Netherlands in terms of military aid.

@Inge-99 they should be even lower as another LNG terminal opens soon.

@Thinkingaroundthebox honestly though. If Canada, the nation everyone picks to laugh at militarily, can provide twice the military aid as France, is Canada a military superpower? or are France and Italy dragging their feet? 🤔

Sweden says russia did it.

How's the weather in Moscow India?

Life under russian occupation was miserable. Random detentions and russification trying to erase their culture.

@jannovak7024 How about Italy? 3rd largest economy in the EU yet sent half as much military aid as Canada.
3
Well France and Italy have consistently spent less then Canada on military aid, while Germany has consistently sent more then Canada. We by the way have a smaller GDP and military then any of them. So why everyone dunking on Germany when Italy and France are passively cheering from the sidelines?

@wudruffwildcard252 Sweden says it was russia
2
They buy energy at a deep discount and sell dual purpose goods at an inflated rate. They aren't supporting, they are exploiting russia for all they can get. Germany is moving away from unreliable parter like China and India
2
@minimax9452 so russian puppet is your choice?

Source?

@Aloh-od3ef Canada has been helping since 2014 and definitely wouldn't have stopped helping in 2022, just because UK or Poland weren't on board.

Especially since Sweden and Denmark held an investigation finding "a strong likelihood of russian sabotage". I guess they don't care much for official statements if it doesn't fit the fantasy.

@TheKkpop1 wait russians are stationing troops in Germany? Hopefully the Americans can kick these monsters back to the kremlin. First you russkiye bomb their pipeline, now this.
1
@tajmajal4197 they grew up during the USSR and probably spent around 30 years of life referring to it as "the Ukrane".
1
@BingoPaletot if only they sent more then token amounts of equipment. The numbers don't lie. French and Italian support is token.
1
@hundredfireify US spent 0.23% of GDP, over all they are 9th in GDP spending behind Canada. If USA want to flex, spend more then Canada!

@cyber_habanero Julian was extradited to Sweden for charges from a girl. Eventually after investigation the charges were dropped. So what about Sweden again? They seem pretty independent to me.
1
@Pointi69 Brazil, has been silent to russia and fairly western leaning. India is pretty harsh with rhetoric against russia too.

Austro-Hungary and Conrad von hötzendorf are responsible for ww1 along with russian mobilisation. WW2 is thanks to the French harsh peace deal that made a continuation war inevitable. The political isolationism from things like the Hawley -Smoot Tariff Act and other bills by other countries sealed our fate of another world war. You should read more history. Germany isn't the boogeyman.
1
@polarstorm5986 again, ww2 was inevitable thanks to the horribly unfair ww1 peace deal. To quote a French officer at their capitulation to Germany on 22 June 1940: "The war between France and Germany is finally over. It lasted 26 years".

@Alex-bc1hx what about this, what about that? What about cat in the hat? Seriously your argument isn't attached to logical fact...
