Well all the frozen assets and funds are definitely going to Ukraine.

Oil was 100% cut off December 5th and russian gas has already been cut off to a few nations thew the ukranian pipeline. They only send a fraction of what they did through that line, like 10% of what it used to be.
9
@knuppel8875 that 1 Greek incident is no where near the volume oil used to be. No sanction is 100%. It's still a dramatic reduction with added costs and shipping times.

@IceDogXena the top producer and exporters of LNG are Australia, and Qatar though. Germany recently signed a big deal with Qatar and Australia too.

@mrityunjaytripathi5588 America actually did build a bunch of Iraq infrastructure. Syria is russias problem they started. Yugoslavia was a russian puppet that fell apart due to russian meddling, trying to keep Yugoslavia divided by conflict with Albania.
2
@chidubeogbonna8243 a few countries like Canada and EU have already signed the funds over.

The pipeline is a pipe dream decades away from reality.
1
How?
1
That was russia. Read Germany report on the explosion. It came from the inside out. The russians sent a pipe inspection drone with a bomb attached to it through the line.
1
@andia968 the russian pipeline is a pipe dream that's decades from reality
1
@dancotton13 well they never built any of their own infrastructure and they rely on German and Canadian machine parts for most of their current infrastructure. If they can barely maintain what they have how likely is it they can construct a whole new extraction field and pipeline. They recently announced a project to research and develop air bags and ABS by 2035. In a lot of areas they still are in the 90s.
1
@dancotton13 they used foreign expertise and parts, with russian manual labor and financing. They still can't manufacture air bags and you expect them to build an entire new extraction field and pipeline under sanctions? They are going to need to research and develop manufacturing for quite a bit of important parts. They still used German and Canadian parts up until sanctions. They even got in a fight over Canada returning a turbine they said they desperately needed.

@billshi6005 slava bs. A majority stake was in China but the manufacturering was in Europe 🇪🇺
1
@billshi6005 so China is going along with russia? Fantastic. Sure they consider that next contract. Sounds like China is in a good position to continue their 30 discount or more. Their warship force is a joke compared to nato.
1
@billshi6005 you can deny reality all you want, doesn't mean it actually changes.
1
@billshi6005 lol, it hasn't even started construction. It's a pipe dream pipe line that won't be completed before the war is.
1
@billshi6005 that line is small and the gas feild was built with Western help west of the Urals.
1
@PlaYer-sn5or a very small amount though
1
@ibrahimtouman2279 so russia is becoming a Chinese vasal with industry completely dependent on China. Great work poutin
1
@ibrahimtouman2279 they report they expect to develop and manufacture air bags by 2035. I don't see them fixing this issue by 2030 without Chinese investment.
1
@hkfoo3333 🤣 russia is already desperately buying up weapons and missles from North Korea and Iran. They are desperate and their economy is in retraction. Their goose is cooked 🦢 🍳
1
He picked a location but they are going to need a massive project to actually create the infrastructure. Right now their infrastructure is all west of the urals with only a small line to China. doe's russia even have the resources to complete the project without China pretty much owning it?
1
@mrityunjaytripathi5588 russia is in lybia exploiting hydrocarbons and sowing instability with their violent crack downs. If you want to blame somebody for lybia blame wagner for all their violence in Libya. Syria was russias problem not America. russia is the one who controls Syrian oil feilds too. russia is the one profiting off the violence in Syria. Stealing their oil and using their cities as a training ground for target practice. The Health Ministry of the Iraqi government recorded 87,215 deaths over the 8 year conflict. This is civilians and combatants. Where on earth do you get 300k?
1
@dosa2990 a few countries like Canada have already signed over the money. Canada has a little over 500,000 million CAD in frozen assets that are already going to Ukraine. You are nieve if you think suddenly the EURO ond USD will be dropped as the international standard. China never even recognised the "annexed territory". They just exploit deep discounted gas and oil.
1
@gingerfox7143 keep dreaming. If anything the russkiye federation is the one who won't exist in a few years.
1
@teddylee1218 US isn't in Syria stealing oil, russia is. Read a book 📖
1
@teddylee1218 they joined a global collation, they worked, they left. russia is now slouch.
