@epictraveller1331 Sweden has much more equipment and industry then turkey and with conscription Finland has more manpower. Together they make a powerhouse more valuable then turkey. Way more reliable too.

Turkey uncomfortable with other countries having democracy 😕
19
@KazimierzSurma not really, Sweden has a very large arms industry and massive stockpiles of equipment. With conscription Finland has more manpower there Turkey.
7
@Deep Sea Shark Turkey needs to be replaced with sweeden and Finland. It would be a step up.
7
@calvinhoward3808 I thought Moldova was next?
5
Felis Pardus you are the one dreaming. Watch the Perun video on sweeden and Finland. It's clear they together are much more militarily capable. Finland with mobilisation and sweedish main force has the largest army in Europe. Meanwhile sweeden has the second/third largest stockpile of armour/planes. Swedens air force and armour is all modern too, not soviet handy downs like turkey.

@ericp1139 if a member persistently violates the principles contained in the pact, the other members will no longer be obligated to assist that member. It would fail “to safeguard the freedom * * *” of its people, “founded on the principles of democracy, individual liberty, and the rule of law” as set forth in the preamble, and to strengthen its “free institutions” as provided in article 2.

Nato could let turkey know they are no longer obliged to help them in any capacity.

@jackholler3572 the one who speaks the truth and wakes all the other trolls apparently 🙄 You think it's democratic for a country to tell another country what their citizens should and shouldn't be allowed to do?
2
@user1qaz2wsx3edc you describe poutin there.

@thehoneybadgerusmc you worked in the kitchen doesn't mean you can manage a restaurant. Not every country is America and does it your way. It's far from a waste. The global instability would cost far more then this drop in the bucket. America has only spent .23% of it's yearly GDP. I'm glad for every penny my government spends on ukraine. I often urge them to do more. Letting russia win will only cause more damage and suffering down the line. Consider it an investment for peace. It will pay dividends.
2
@thehoneybadgerusmc we do, you just don't count veterans affairs as military spending. We'd be fine without America.
1
@ransertu7630 that's funny, because turkey won't allow others to express opinions in their own country. Not without throwing a tantrum and blackmailing them into submission.
1
As a dictator he's definitely not going out. Not any time soon anyway.
1
Felis Pardus yeah, facts can be hard to handle. Maybe you will cope better after that nap. To be clear I'm comparing sweeden with Finland, to Turkey. Together they are extremely strong 💪 Meanwhile Turkey sites on a fence....
1
@thehoneybadgerusmc lol, welfare state 🤣 clearly I'm talking to a fox news bot who can't see past the American border🙄 keep living in your special little bubble where only you matter. @M M lol, welfare state 🤣 clearly I'm talking to a fox news bot who can't see past the American border🙄 You know America started NATO for their benefit right? Or would you rather have an adversary along your massive border 🤔 Canada does have enough for security, problem is America wants everyone to have foreign deployment capability like them, to assist in all their wars abraded. America is 29th on the democracy index and 26th in living standards. 1st in military spending. You really shouldn't throw stones when you live in a glass house. 1

@jackholler3572 it actually isn't. Sweden makes their own export fighter jets, tanks, AT Excetera. They are a major arms manufacturer unlike Turkey. As for Finland every man has mandatory 1 years service and has access to constant refresher training. In the event of war just about every able bodied male and female without a critical war time job (or being the only parent to look after kids) is drafted. With that they have a larger army then turkey. Paired with Swedens abundance of equipment and they are easily the strongest force in Europe 🇪🇺 💪

@DemosBrutus russia is in Asia, and Turkey is in the middle east. Finlands conscription still makes the Finish army larger then turkeys. Watch the Perun vid on them.
1
@thehoneybadgerusmc how about stop complaining about benefiting from the world order that keeps America safe?
1
There is a network of treaties that bind Japan, Australia, America, SK, and the UK. Not quite NATO, but they would all likely get involved if the other is attacked.
1
@ericp1139 trump betrayed them. Congress was going ape and condemning his actions 🎬
1
@Dogan690 you do realise together they have 95 million people which is 11 million more people then turkey right? You should also know a much higher percentage of their population has military training and refresher courses. Read a book 📖
1
Right does it too. Stop this left vs right stuff. Not the place
1
@DemosBrutus kyiv wasn't founded by tartans. It was founded by vikings. They fought the tartans for generations and were enslaved by them. Many Kyivian rus were sold to the Ottoman empire
1
@Deep Sea Shark European armies are made for self defence. Exception being UK and France who patrol former colonies. Turkey is no different then most of Europe. Their size doesn't matter much when they don't have the capability for foreign deployment.
1
@5StarPet they had been arguing about that since the fall of yugoslavia. Finally they settled on a compromise. It's better then their former name. They were officially the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, now they are the Republic of North Macedonia. It's a step up.
1
@DemosBrutus to bad you don't offer it to anyone else😆
1
@DiviAugusti no, every member would have to vote them out, or they would have to be found in major violation of the treaty. Countries can be removed/leave NATO.
