How much more can russia really escalate?

I heard Slovakia or Slovenia and some baltic states sent tanks too. I definitely remember Estonia sending some modernised t-64.

@simba7107 yeah, because russia is doing soooo well π

@williamzk9083 Like the training base in the UK that has trained 10k soldiers or the one in Denmark that's a lot quieter about their training schedule. π

@claus-not-santa you are on old information. That was before Kharkiv and Kherson were liberated. Only 15% is occupied. Besides that's a meaningless metric. France was pretty well occupied in ww1 and ww2 and they are still around. russia has played their hand and are now slowly being rolled back. Meanwhile more and more advanced supplies make their way to Ukraine. russia will be lucky to make it through 2023 without loosing crimea.

He's doing a speed run for the end game credits.

The thing about France is whenever they send something it's like 6 peices of equipment.
3
@emintey the AMX 10RC is not vulnerable to small arms, neither is the abrams.
2
@martyn4501 not if you want to be respectful of Ukraine. Kive is the anglo-russkiye way of of spelling it.
2
@Ss3gokus the russian federation has started 14 wars and occupies 9 countries with wagner troops. However the federation has never had a major war close to the scale of Ukraine. They have no comparable experience to Ukraine. Also currently only 15% of Ukraine is occupied. 25% was back before russia lost Kharkiv, and Kherson. If russia has barely used their army why are they on a second massive wave of mobilisation. Why are they 11 months deep into a war that destroys their economy and reputation? Riddle me that gagan man.
2
Finally somebody says what France actually sent. Closest I heard was AMX and I thought they were sending old garbage AMX 13s.
2
@martyn4501 well nothing is forever. Sometimes you need to adapt to new things.

@wallyw4965 Americans say that because they don't want russia to get their hands on their technology. russia has already shared captured javelins and drones with countries like China and Iran.

Lav-6!

@60iger29 France was rolled over thanks to horribly incompetent strategy of morease gamelin, and the fascist sympathies from Philippe PΓ©tain. 6 weeks to capitulation, about half the French army surrendered after being left by the British at Dunkirk. Their maginot line cut off and starved out, along with the "hedgehogs". Germany didn't have many losses.
1
@martyn4501 Kyiv, so just say it right unless you like being a jerk.
1
@Kayasvadji idk, russia has a lot less tanks as well. We're also seeing them use increasingly older tanks like t-64, even sometime t-62. A lot of those tanks sent by Poland and others were old refurbished t-64 and t-62. These new IFVs are much more modern and capable then a tank from the 60s with nigh vision from the 90s and a new battery slapped inside.
1
The AMX 13? That came into service 1952. They are also only sending like 8.

Main battle tank, Mobile Protected Firepower vehicle, Infantry Support Vehicle, Armoured personnel carrier, Infantry Mobility Vehicles, Armoured security vehicle, and improvised fighting vehicle. They break it down a lot based on armour, fire power, and weight.

The grand offensive that captured Kharkiv was spear headed by 15 tanks, and some Bush masters shortly after. I'm not sure how much you think a lot is, but 15 in one place was rather devastating. As for the resistance, I think it's mostly nations not wanting to share their best military tech and risk enemies learning their specs and sharing the technology. russia has already shared captured drones and other equipment with China. Most military experts believe a war with China is very likely before 2040. They are thinking ahead about what tech they can risk "sharing" with China/russia.
1
That's always such a misnomer. America calculates military spending different. Example most countries count veteran affairs as military spending. America on the other hand mostly throws their vets to the wind. Most are off by less then half a percentage anyway. It wouldn't have made much of a difference.

Lav 3 gave the Bradley a run for it's money π°

@martyn4501 like I said. Disrespect a people facing genocide or spell their dang capital city the correct way.
1
@nvelsen1975 that doesn't sound legit.
1
@stephenbrand5661 Estonia sent 6.
1
@stephenbrand5661 they bought 6 t-64s with upgrade packages through a company in Europe and sent them to Ukraine back in June or July. π mind blowing I know.
1
@great7939 russia was beat in ww1 and they lost in Afghanistan. They only won ww2 due to lends lease from America, Canada, Australia, NZ, India, and South Africa. π This time tables are turned and russia is mostly alone up against most of the world. π russia has no chance as long as the political will to send remains. π
1
@martyn4501 I'm with the other guy on Kyiv.
1
@Jamie-Z what difference would that really make? Other then chemical weapons and nukes they have played all their cards. Chemical weapons and Nukes are end game tools. He definitely can't use them without bringing direct western involvement.
1
Murder is purpose built to hunt APCs like the Bradley and 1 punch them out cold though. Those should be hunter killers on the battlefeild.
