  9. ​@Jizun Ernia it's not an everyone thing cuz puns don't always work, but when they do they're something older chinese descents find as an ingenious thing to do, since it has a good meaning in multiple languages they use. i think my maternal grandparents mustve also paid some government workers long ago last century to probably find them a nice local surname since that side of my family is using some common surname that's wholly unrelated to their original surname
