  1. it makes a lot of sense. if you are old already and just have a lot of hatred for other people, the logic can go where if hes old already, hes ready to die already and just take out all the ones he hates along with him if hes going to get killed anyways through death penalty or however life will be over. he might as well do it when he still has the strength to do it than later when he's bedridden already.

  4. the suspect was likely a pro-unification waishengren taiwanese-american but got very very frustrated at the fact that there are many pro-independence hokkienese taiwanese-americans in their church there in the US. since they are all old men, the suspect likely thought it was fine if he just killed everyone and if he gets killed, it will be fine cuz hes old anyways

  5. taiwan has a history of having a lot of ethnic han chinese people and being part of Qing China and ROC, before the communist takeover in mainland china, so it makes perfect sense that they are ethnic chinese there in that taiwanese church
