Could China just like... chill out? Is that too much to ask? They have no threats, they have lifted people out of poverty, they've opened up (to some level) to the world... things were looking up for China around the olympics. When I was there teaching english people were so optimistic and open. People were excited about the future. Just in the 15 yeras since then things have changed so much because of Xi. Just leave Taiwan alone, it doesnt affect China at all. Focus on yourselves and becoming more integrated into the global community.
