I had to fast forward during the part about how the lethal injections are done. It made my skin crawl. I know people have done horrible, awful things... but I just can't get my support behind capital punishment. It's really actually not even that they're put to death, it's that they KNOW the exact time of it. To me, that is cruel and unusual punishment. If there was a way where they "couldn't see it coming" in some way, oddly enough, I think Id support that possibly. Edit - I love that some of the prisoners can have a cat. As long as they EARN the trust for it. That has to be so healthy for them, and I'd imagine it helps rehabilitation too. Teaches responsibility and empathy.
