  38.  @tycox8704  yeah.. I'm more than capable of forming my own thoughts and expressing my own opinion. So probably refrain from trying to put words in my mouth or thoughts in my head. Just because I'm not willing to take a woman's Choice away from her as to what happens to her own body, does not mean I think abortion is nonchalant or something that shouldn't be taken seriously. First... It could have future reproductive consequences towards women. It's a medical procedure. Every medical procedure comes with the risk. And it's not just physical risk either. I volunteered for 12 years at our local women's center before they shut it down. Have you ever been present or helped talk a whole lot of women through that difficult decision. It's something you live with. I also did so at a time where I was having several miscarriages. 5 in total before I had my little boy. They all had names. I felt them all... Talked to them all... However.. It actually helped that I knew the biology of the situation later. I knew they did not have consciousness. Their brains and pain receptors where not developed yet. Which meant, even though I was sad about their possibility being taken from me, I also knew they where not really there yet. Which meant there was no pain for them. No suffering on their part. Back then, even though I was still pro choice, I would have never chose abortion for myself. The funny part is... I might now. I have medical complications that make any pregnancy I have in the future high risk for me and the child. I am a single mom. So I would be faced with the choice of orphaning the child I already have for little hope of me and the new child surviving. Ironic twist.. I'm also easy to get pregnant. Three out of the five miscarriages and pregnancies were conceived when we were using protection and I was on the pill. I can not stand women who use abortion as birth control. Like most women would... I'm just not willing to force women to become walking talking incubators or think I have any right to do so. That devalues our existence.

  40.  @tycox8704  No... It doesn't. You just want to blame women.... So the idea of a medical decision being taken away from a man to prevent the very thing that you don't want to happen, is unacceptable to you. Mandatory reversible vasectomies are much less traumatic to the human body then abortion or pregnancy. The health risks are massively lower. It would allow for better planning. It would pay for itself, from all we would save from the creation, buying and distribution of not only birth control, but also the abortion pill. And.. Yes... Mandatory... As you would have women have it be mandatory for them to carry a pregnancy to full term and then give birth. Way more invasive than the vasectomy. I don't know how does someone qualify to be able to have an abortion to you? Rape, incest or life of the mother/child? And why would sexual servitude factor in? Did you just notice that even in your example of trying to prove your case you still put women in a subjugation role? How in the world you would think that mandatory vasectomies on men would in debt women is beyond me. How would that be? Considering their reversible a woman would still have the same choice she always did. Whether she was ready to be pregnant or not. The only difference to that would be that instead of women going off the pill, men would go in and get a reversal. That is very telling to your mindset... But... Irregardless, you just got to my point. You know how insane mandatory vasectomy sound to you? That's how insane forced pregnancy sounds to women. The point is, neither is okay. You claim I'm not thinking it through yet you dismiss any consequences women may have to face or any circumstance they may be in when it comes to them. It's insane to force men to have mandatory vasectomies. Just like it's insane to force women to give birth and carry children. We are not walking talking incubators, you are not walking talking seeders. You just proved my point about your mind set and pro choice.
