Police and military have to pass gun safety and proficiency test in order to open carry. Why shouldn't people with less training have to do so? Mental health screening. Closing the gun-show loophole.

@rileyfair5 Is that a real question? And what is the point of it? At best, you're making an argument for a national gun regulations. To answer it, it has a multitude of factors involving crime, the ability to drive an hour away and get a gun with relaxed gun laws and and documented local political and legal corruption. Those would, at least be the three biggest contributing factors. Of course, given full contact and the entirety of the history and population of Baltimore, there are many other contributing factors. But, yet again, you're going to have to look at the full context. Which you do not like to do.

@rileyfair5 In many countries, england, for example, where you are required to meet a higher level of standard to even own a gun, including annual exams, it has drastically cut down on many different lives lost and injuries involving firearms. Suicides, person to person shooting and most of all, accidental firearm discharge deaths. In short.... The best reason of all... To save lives.

@rileyfair5 👈 This one here has dodged 1 question this entire time, using many common right wing tactics, suited towards only seeing information or points of interest that fit a particular narrative. Forcing them to surrender their morals and common sense, in order to do so. * Lying * Pretending they don't understand * Making claim after claim, they can not back up when challenged to do so * Consistently the person asking them for that evidence are doing things, they, themselves are doing... And, yet again, not being about to provide evidence of this, when challenged * Attempting to divert and deflect from the evidence challenges * Childish name calling * Pretending to ask for context, they don't really want And on and on... Not realizing they discredit themselves along the way. Point being, when you come across people like this, your goal shouldn't be to convince them of anything. Just to discredit them past the point that anyone can take them seriously anymore. They will always help you with this. They won't always turn themselves inside and out not answering that one fact based question. All you have to do is find that one fact-based question, they can't just credit and you won't let them run away from. Eventually, them not answering it, answers it anyways.
