@GotoHere Remember when you do we have to feign outrage over all those things you just mentioned? Because if you really cared about any of them, you would care no matter who was doing them. You seemed only care when it's the left. Wanna talk about fake...

@ruddagahwallace8287 Remember when you guys could actually defend your parties leaders instead of constantly deflecting from their actions?

The right... The next time you get told to act all outraged about what you have been taught to villainize as "PC culture", remember that this kind of pure ignorant, hate inducing behaviour is normalized or even touted around like it's a good thing. It gives ppl like this the opening they have been waiting for, to climb out from under their rocks and start trying to convince you that it's okay to act this way as an adult. My fellow left... This 8s what happens when you stop giving constructive criticism to our side and the people we elect, and start clapping and voting at just anything. Trump being elected was partially our fault. We need to expect our side to give us someone to vote for. Hillary Clinton and the politicians like her on our side was never going to be that. None of you should have wasted your votes on her or your support for her.

@doof goobins because they're supposed to be our national leaders. They're supposed to be setting an example. Because it's not just a talking s*** about each other. It's normalizing racism and bigotry.

@FakingANerve As for ways... actual consequences for those who abused their power. Removing DOJ policies which protect people in power from being held accountable for the crimes they commit in office. Getting money out of politics. Requiring Congress to adhere to the social welfare laws that they pass for the average American. 👈 This one here, watch how fast Healthcare becomes a right and not a privilege. Also, watch how fast a minimum-wage magically shoots up to match inflation and worker productivity. And just in general, hold our elected leaders to the high standard that they should have accepted when applying for the job. Just a few.

@FakingANerve We will make it through. Its been darker and we did.

@FakingANerve Absolutely! KP is my girl! 🎈 Good talking to you, as well, hun. Keep up the good fight! 😊

It's simple... In this scenario, the people laughing here, are the same people who would have been encouraging their sons and daughters to work for the Third Reich and clapping at all of Hitler's speeches, in Nazi Germany.

@FakingANerve That's a good point... It was a general "we", but that just means we need to not only not vote for ppl like HC, but also the DNC corrupt.

@FakingANerve Money in politics is the crux of the poison apple. It would have to be first. I get your pessimism. The truth is, our politicians have to sell themselves to get elected.... And I'm not talking about to the voters. You need a ridiculous amount of money in order to get elected to leadership in this country. As for holding our Representatives accountable, doj policy actually has a much less goat threshold than passing regular laws. It's just regulation. It's a lot more doable then ppl think. One thing that would solve a whole lot of problems and the one that I would go after first because it would also help the whole bought and paid for a politician problem, would be the making it mandatory for Congressional officials to adhere to the social and Welfare laws that they pass in Congress. You'd be surprised how motivated people get when they find out it's their butts on the line to. It has been crazy. We elected Donald Trump for God's sake. Like I said, though. We're partially to blame for that. The Democratic party should have given us someone to vote for instead of just someone to vote against. Joe Biden is okay. He has his downsides. He's just middle-of-the-road period which seems to be the only thing that the Democratic Party can get past a primary. You can say a lot of things about the Republican party but they're good at marketing their firebrands. We need to stop being afraid of offending people so much and push forward those that would challenge that middle-of-the-road idea. The ideas and the Democratic party shouldn't be focused on who's not going to bother people the most. It should be who's going to vote for, speak out and support our ideals.
