BUT... the difference between us and you is that we're not trying to deflect from our mistakes. Using historical Common Sense, who has the better chance of not making that mistake again, the person who will admit they screwed up or the one that won't even acknowledge they did a damn thing wrong ever? 2nd... exiting out of Afghanistan was never going to go any other way in the long-term. As soon as we left, they where always going to take it back. The only way to change that would have been permanent occupation. Which is why no other president, including Trump, didn't want to look bad doing that. Or are you suggesting we should have just stayed there forever? And sacrifice American lives forever?

  4.  @MG-zq5cg  How long did that take and how many reserves did that needlessly expend doing so? And how long can they hold it? War is a lot more then about taking land. Is Putin has to expend that many resources and that much time taking every city or town, he's going to lose and lose bad.

It is a fair bet to say that the troops sent to invade ukraine from Russia and by Putin, are Russian troops, including the ones who get captured or surrender after a lost battle. Not to mention the multiple reports sense the beginning of actual Russian troops. One just the other day who went onto admit his war crime after pleading guilty. The captured troops towards the beginning of the war saying they had no odea they where going to invade, and thought it was training simulations. The captured and injured ones talking about their orders and families from their hospital beds. All on video... And just to name a few.

At one point in the article that you just gave the name and title of it literally claims them to be Russian troops and not separatists. "Ukraine is hoping to exchange the Azovstal soldiers for 👉Russian👈 prisoners. But pro-Russian authorities in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region suggested that some of them could be put on trial." So how does this prove that claim?
