@tommy Tentz Rep. Katie Porter graduated from Yale and then went on to graduate from Harvard Law School.... And taught at many different schools after. She clerked for Arnold. She wrote several books. In March 2012, California Attorney General Kamala Harris appointed Porter to be the state's independent monitor of banks in a nationwide $25 billion mortgage settlement. As monitor, she oversaw the banks' implementation of $9.5 billion in settlement reforms for Californians. Porter did not accept corporate PAC money in her bid for Congress. seeking to overturn the U.S. Supreme Court 2010 decision Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission. Porter has cited an overhaul of campaign finance laws and protection of voting rights as legislative priorities. In March 2019, Porter introduced the "Help America Run Act" (H.R.1623), a bill that would allow people running for the House or Senate to use campaign contributions to pay for healthcare premiums, elder care, child care and dependent care. The bill passed the House in October 2019 and moved on to the Senate for a final vote. Porter voted for the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act on November 5, 2021. The act funds electric vehicles, helps airports reduce emissions, and funds roads and bridges. Just to name a few.

@tommy Tentz as far as what you're looking at, I think your parameters are set up for them to fail. Each representative only has a limited amount of power. Only when they come together do they really have any. A single representative can't really do much on the national scale. There are several that speak up in the right direction, however. Like I said, my vote would be for someone like Katie Porter. Someone who has a long history of fighting for us and being super smart about it.

There's certainly worst states on the map in a variety of similar and different ways. Yet you only want to focus on California. And again, trying to assign the entire State of California to Katie Porter as if it's something hanging around her neck and nothing else matters, is ridiculous. How in the world do you think President Biden's mistakes, which he has made some, amount to the other clusterflock of Donald Trump presidency, is beyond me. -Recession, -Two impeachments, -Hundreds of thousands of Americans dropping like flies, -Getting us into the only kind of War literally nobody in history as ever won, -Having the entire country down not once, but twice. ... the first time two years into his presidency when he realized he had to run for re-election again and had never delivered on his primary promise of building a completely useless wall that would cost hundreds of billions of dollars to construct and maintain... so, therefore, deciding it was a good idea to put hundreds of thousands of government workers out of work for like 5 months and shut down the entire government only to cave in the end when people were standing in bread lines and losing their houses. .... the second time he didn't just put all the government workers out of work. It was the whole country... all because of his incompetent handling of covid-19. And that's just a few off the top of my head... I could literally go on for 4 years. Which is exactly why you don't want to claim your own party. You know you can't defend it but you want to attack the left and Joe Biden anyways.

It took our leader six months since the beginning of the pandemic in order to start wearing masks. The president of the United States kept trying to sell us snake oil cures for covid-19 while taking none of them when he got it. He defunded the restocking of America's medical stock piles, sending all the states into a bidding war against each other for literal American lives. Threatened to defund our already strapped public education system unless they force children to go back to school during the lockdown. Got America into the only kind of War that literally nobody in the history of time has won. A trade War. Constantly lied. Alienated our long-term allies and buddy dup to vicious dictators all across the world. Deregulated things like... Workers safety Worker anti-discrimination Public education standards Environmental standards Workman's comp Electoral protections And tones more... Supported racists and racism in a variety of ways. Sat there and did nothing for 3 hours, while out nations capital was under attack and ppl where literally fighting for their lives, from the mob of his own supporters, he sent down there. Refused to help Americans dying and in need in Puerto Rico because their mayor wasn't nice to him. Ask foreign adversaries to help him get elected and re-elected. Put children in cages. Lying about having stockpiles of the second dose. I mean... I could literally go on for years.
