  2. Ike U Soft sciences and things like chemistry and astrophysics are apples and oranges. Tyson isn't talking about feminist studies he's talking about biology and sciences like that. He's talking specifically of evolution for which there is massive data to back it up but religious people refuse to understand it and keep misstating what it actually says confusing it for the Big Bang theory or abiogenesis without really bothering to find out what any of these actually say.

  3. Ike U I don't consider sociology, or even psychology to be on the same level as geology or biology. But, either way, science is always reevaluating and changing based on new evidence. That we keep learning new things about evolution doesn't disprove it. Darwin was wrong about a lot of things, but that didn't mean evolution was wrong, it just meant that we didn't know everything.
