I didn't really like the treatment of the kid in the confederate uniform. I suspect he is just someone who thinks he's holding on to history--he probably could be educated about how these monuments were put up in the 1920s & 30s mostly to show support for Jim Crow laws and as a reminder to black people not to get "uppity".
