  2. Kurt Kilgus Really? How is that? I'm talking about when the woman says she's pregnant and wants to keep it, the man will have to pay whether he wants to e involved or not. Now, how can he get out of paying child support? Tell me that.

  4. Kurt Kilgus And that's my point. I think he should have the right to say "I don't want this baby and don't want to support it". If she chooses to have it and keep it then it's her choice. Just as, I don't think he should be able to force her not to have it she should not be able to force him to support it.

  5. Tsubasa I think women can be responsible for not getting pregnant. They don't need to depend on the man to do everything.

  6. Tsubasa I understood what you're saying, I just don't agree with you. Neither one should be let off or stuck with it. Both should have a choice in the matter, not just the woman. It is her choice to keep the baby. If the man wants to be part of the baby's life then he should pay up but he shouldn't have it forced on him.

  8. Tsubasa I didn't say he should. At no point did I say he should be able to force her not to have the baby or to have the baby, and she should not be able to force him to be responsible for the baby that she has sole choice in having.

  12. Tsubasa And tell the woman that if she doesn't want to get pregnant it's her responsibility too. And if she's trying to trap the man into marrying her it's her responsibility as well (I actually know of several recent cases where she did get pregnant on purpose hoping the man would marry her.  In both the cases the man stepped up financially by choice, but didn't marry the woman).

  14. Tsubasa And if she chooses to keep it it's her choice--he gets no say in the matter. I think he should. Just as she gets to decide if she wants to keep it, so should he.

  15. Tsubasa And if she chooses to keep the baby it is her responsibility. She is making the choice to take on the responsibility. It is unfair to take the choice away from the man.

  16. Tsubasa Men should have the same choice as anyone else. I don't want a father who doesn't want anything to do with me. It's bad for everyone involved.

  17. Tsubasa Then they'll all have to deal with that. The man should have choice just as the woman does. If she can't raise the child by herself and the man doesn't want to raise it the child should be given up for adoption.
