I have a cousin in Utah who is kind an alt-right person. I can guarantee that he and his friends in Utah have never met a single black person. One of them claimed that he had black ancestors--he didn't mention that they were slaves owned by his white ancestors who raped his black ancestors, but he thought having black ancestry made him invulnerable to charges of racism.
