  2. The problem with this sort of philosophy, which is the same problem as libertarianism is that it depends on people acting in good faith. It's naive.

  3. "The left always measures success in terms of dollars"? And the right doesn't? It seems like some of these comments are very self serving. I don't think the left measures success in dollars any more than the right does--and possibly less.

  4. Light And Shadow That's very simplistic. The right thinks that people should be able to make dollars by exploiting and damaging the earth and other human beings without any controls or safeguards. The left thinks that we should all share in making our society better and that there should be controls so that people don't wreck everyone else.
